Angel Portier LeBoeuf, 93, a native and resident of Chauvin, La. died Friday, November 30, 2007, at 8:00 p.m.

She is survived by her son, Ray LeBoeuf and his wife June; one daughter, Linrose Kelly and her husband Lamar; two brothers, Aubrey and Wiley Portier; one sister Velma Foret; six grandchildren, Thomas, Chris, and John LeBoeuf, Lisa Lapeyrouse, Anna Cassady, and Elizabeth Nicole; and 16 great-grandchildren, Joshua, Seth, Sean, Celest, Jacob, and Caleb Lapeyrouse, Jesse, Mackenzie, Marie, and Zack Cassady, Abby, Savannah, Tanner, Jordan, Erin, and Benjamin LeBoeuf.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterley Alphonse LeBoeuf; her parents, Ernest and Estelle Authement Portier, Sr.; and one brother, Ernest Portier, Jr.

Angel was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She was a member of the Ladies Alter Society. She loved her family, church, gardening, work, and bingo. She worked as a housekeeper for St. Joseph Church and a maid for the Chauvin Family and others. She was a former shrimp factory worker. Her family would like to thank her many friends for their love and support.

She is buried in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin.
