Anna Mae Sagona McElroy, 76, a native of Ellendale, La., a former resident of Bourg, La., and a resident of Enterprise, Ms., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2008, at 7:25 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Charles McElroy Jr. and wife, Doris, of Tishomingo, Ms.; daughter, Romettra Wilkins and husband, John, of Enterprise; brothers, Frank Sagona Jr. of Vivian and Richard Sagona of Houma, La.; sister, Louise “LuLu” Ledet of Bayou Black, La.; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McElroy Sr.; her parents, Frank Sagona Sr. and Louise Ciccio Sagona; son, Steven Paul McElroy; brother, Anthony Sagona; and sisters, Rita Lange, Cathy Reeves and Betty Vail.
She was a retired clerk with D.H. Holmes and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, and 8 a.m. 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Chauvin Funeral Home with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
