Anne Carol Theriot Watson, 57, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Elizabeth City, N.C., died Friday, July 16, 2010.

Mrs. Watson was an avid quilter and she belonged to several guilds. She was a Team Captain for Relay for Life and a member of the “Lucky Ladybugs” Cancer Survivor group. She was a master gardener, an avid scuba diver, a hang glider pilot and a travel agent. She was also a schoolteacher and a government contract consultant. She received her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from Nicholls State University in 1975 and her MBA in finance from Texas A & I University in 1983.

She is survived by her husband, Wilbert “Bill” Watson; mother, Corinne “Queenie” Moore Theriot; brothers, David and Jerome “Joe” Theriot; sister, Angela “Kid” Theriot Brown; 11 nieces; and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Theriot Sr.; and one brother, James “Jimmy” Theriot Jr.

She is buried at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery.
