September 21, 2011Anthony “Tony” J. Totina, 89, a native of Schriever, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011.
Mr. Totina was a veteran of World War II and recipient of the Silver and Bronze Stars.
He is survived by his daughter, Dianne (Steward) Pitre; son, Mark Totina; sister, Marie T. Hebert; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Totina; parents, John and Laruguina Totina; son, John Totina; sisters, Theresa Ordoyne, Lena Terracina, Josephine Benoit, Paulina Demicelli, Lucy Andras and Jennie Zeringue; and brothers, Charlie and Joseph Totina.
Burial was at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Landry’s)
