Lafourche permit office tries to stymie
April 21, 2011Antoine Joseph Dardar, 87, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, April 19, 2011.
Mr. Dardar was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and a member of the Band of Biloxi, Chitimacha-Choctaw, and Isle of Jean Charles.
He is survived by his sons, Perry (Lena), Willis, Joseph (Frances), Jerry (Gail), Michael (Jamie) and Tommy (Penny) Dardar; daughters, Brenda (Earl) Billiot, Theresa (Donald) Dardar and Terry (Ronald) LeBlanc; brothers, Thomas Dardar and Earl Naquin; sisters, Marie Ledet, Gloria Crochet, Lillian Pierre and Aline Bergeron; 31 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Josephine Dardar; parents, Rosalie Dardar and Joseph Naquin; brothers, Simon Naquin, Jack, Constance and Elie Hendon, and Adam and Ernest Dardar; and sisters, Emelda Streetman and Mary Naquin
He is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
