Behind basin restoration, Maloz leads
October 24, 2011Ara Margeurite Pizzolatto, 89, a native of Berwick, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:35 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011.
Mrs. Pizzolatto enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary #3700 and was her husband’s bookkeeper for A & J Plumbing. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandson.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Anthony Pizzolatto; daughters, Mary Pizzolatto, Antionette (R.P.) Guidry and Cynthia Templet; sisters, Jeanette Martin and Thelma James; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Uylessa and Cynthia Plessala; sisters, Dolores Frickem, Ophilia Fromenthal and Irma Daigle; and brothers, Jack and Reuben Plessala.
Burial was at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. (Chauvin)
