Archie Joseph McGuire Jr., 67, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013.
Mr. McGuire was a member of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corp and Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government.
He is survived by his wife, Eveline Williams-McGuire; daughters, Charity (Cleveland) Gallien and Katina and Chuyane McGuire; brother, Raymond McGuire Sr.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Scott and Archie McGuire Sr.; daughter, Tonie McGuire; and sisters, Merral Sims and Carol Coleman.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, at Community Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Community)
