Archie Rudolph Shepard Sr., 83, a native of Laurel, Miss., and resident of Schriever, La., died Saturday, March 15, 2014.
Mr. Shepard was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Thibodaux, La. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical of after 33 years. He was a school bus driver for St. Bernard Parish and an auxiliary deputy for St. Bernard Parish for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Georgia Shepard; daughter, Lisa (Milton) Aucoin; son, Archie Jr. (Donna) Shepard; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Isabelle Shepard; and brothers, Amos, Henry, James, Tommy Jr., Roy and Billy Ray Shepard.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La. (Falgout)
