Arthur Jacobs, 85, a native of Noble and a resident of Houma, La., died at 8:30 a.m.
Thursday, August 21.
He is survived by one son, Kevin Jacobs; one daughter, Terri Gideon and husband
Bobby of Raceland, La.; one sister, Grace McDaniel of Calhoun; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine Herring Jacobs; his parents, Mitch Jacobs and Elizabeth Bisson Jacobs; and three sisters, Hazel Taylor, Sybil Wilson and Marie Jacobs.
He was a retired supervisor with Homco and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
