
Public appeal issued in Terrebonne for elderly heat health

March 24, 2011Ashton “Daego” Joseph Knight, 90, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011.
Mr. Knight was a parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral and a proud veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Deacon Ambrose) Ayzinne and Barbara (Lucien) Caballero; three grandchildren, Crystal and Cliff Ayzinne, and Charles “Chuck” Caballero; three step-grandchildren, Keith, Connie and Carmen; five great-grandchildren, Devin Ayzinne, Allexia Landry, Allie and Ashton Caballero and Clay Ayzinne; and one great-great-grandchild, Madyson Ayzinne.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Adams Knight; parents, Wilson and Marie Chaisson Knight; six brothers, Alfred, Junior, Sedrick, Jessie, Nolan and Norman Knight; one sister, Irene Pitre; and two step-grandchildren, Robert and Thomas.
He is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
