Barbara Martin Vizier

Barbara Martin Vizier, 63, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Thursday, April 24, at 7:15 a.m.

She is survived by her father, Hubert Martin; daughters, Collette V. Williams and husband Tony and Valerie Vizier and companion Kenny Cheramie; sister, Thelma Aucoin; and grandchildren, Dylen Williams, Aaron Foret, Brody Williams and Megan Foret.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbert Vizier; mother, Irene Cheramie Martin; brother, John Martin; and sister, Ameliss Plaisance.

She was a fan of the New Orleans Saints and Hornets and loved to gamble. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, April 27 and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 28, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La. A mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
