Barbara Plaisance Pierce, 56, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 10:54 a.m.
She is survived by her husband, Michael A. Pierce; parents, Eddie Plaisance Sr. and Elsie Gros Plaisance; daughters, Leslie Pierce Boudreaux and husband Robin Jr., and Tesha Pierce Dufrene and husband Michael Jr.; brother, Eddie Plaisance Jr.; sister, Stacey Plaisance Breaux; and grandchildren, Andre, Jessi, Hayden Anselmi and Mesha Pierce Dufrene.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Plaisance Champagne.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, La.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, January 2, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
