Beatrice “Bea” Dupre Trahan, 92, a native of Bayou Blue, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 3:10 p.m. Friday, September 26.
She is survived by one son, Robert “Bobby” Trahan of Houma; one daughter-in-law, Deanna Brien Trahan of Texas; one sister, Olive Dupre Savoie of Houma; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Joseph Trahan; her parents, Alfred
Dupre and Victoria Thibodaux Dupre; two sons, William “Ned” Trahan and Daniel “Danny” Trahan; two brothers, Dewey Dupre and Woodreax “Woody” Dupre; and three sisters, Ester Dupre Domangue, Enez Dupre Boquet and Helen Dupre.
She was a retired cook with Cenac Towing Company and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 29, at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.
