Bennie Paul Toups, 70, a native of Cut Off, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday, February 14, at 3:58 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Mona Sevin Toups; sons, James Toups, Dwayne P. Toups and wife Sam, Bradley Toups and wife Debbie, and David P. Toups; daughters, Daphne Toups Hughes and husband Gary “Skeet”, and Lynelle A. Adams and husband Earl H.; sisters, Patricia Bellanger and Iris Bascle; 31 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Liless Toups Sr. and Esther Callais Toups Duplantis; son, Troy C. Toups; daughter, Karen Toups Hugon; brother, Liless P. “Butch” Toups Jr.; and sister, Geraldine Cheramie.
He was a parishioner of King Jesus Ministries.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, at King Jesus Ministries in Boutte, La. with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at St. Hilary Cemetery in Mathews, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
