Bernice Babin Bergeron, 90, a native of Chacahoula, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Friday, October 17.
She is survived by three sons, James Bergeron and wife Shirley, Robert Bergeron and wife Mavis, and Ralph Bergeron; two daughters, Jane Bergeron Portier and husband Daniel Portier Sr., and June Bergeron Rozands and husband Charlton; 23 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Bergeron Sr.; her parents, Joseph and Modest Olivier Babin; one son, Alvin Bergeron Jr.; one brother, Youance Babin; and two sisters, Eunice Usie and Gussie Guilfour.
She was a retired packer for Southdown Sugar and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
She was buried at St. Francis de Sales No. 1 Cemetery.
