Bernice Henry

Bernice Thibodeaux Henry, 92, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009.

She is survived by daughter, Mona (Larry) Rousseau; sisters, Josephine Thibodeaux, Beulah T. Chauvin and Viola T. Eschete; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Henry; parents, Neville and Oline Naquin Thibodeaux; sons, Mark and Clyde Henry; brothers, Gillis, Roy, Evans, Menvill and Paul Thibodeaux; sister, Arennia T. Malbrough; and grandson, Christopher Henry.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 11, from 9 a.m. to funeral time, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. at the church.

She will be buried at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Chauvin.
