Bertha Blake, 61, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La. and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, April 16, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Community Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Benevolent Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Arthur Hale of Denver, Co. and Henry Bolden of Houma; one daughter, Buffie Bolden of Houma; 21 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Heulan Blake; her parents, Ceola Elliot and Issac Newton; one brother, Herman Elliot; and her grandparents, Levolia Elliot, Elizabeth Williams and Bertha Newton.
She was Baptist.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
