Bessie Adams Callais, 85, a native of Cut Off, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012.
Mrs. Callais was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La.
She is survived by her husband, Onezime Callais; son, Wade Callais; daughter, Lela Langston; and sister, Essie Hatcher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignace and Emma Adams; brother, Woodrow Adams; and sisters, Zoella Adams and Ouida Autin.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
