Bessie Durocher Simoneaux, 62, a native of Thibodaux, La., and a resident of Napoleonville, La., died Tuesday, March 25, at 2 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Richard L. Simoneaux; her mother, Daisy Oncale Durocher; son, John M. Simoneaux and wife, Paula; daughter, Lana S. Alleman and husband, Sid; sisters, Beulah D. Sharp and Mary D. Acosta; and grandchildren, Tyler, Ian, Brennan and Sophie Simoneaux, and Lani and Luke Alleman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney “Babe” Durocher; and sister, Hazel D. Daze.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Amyloidosis Foundation Inc., 7151 N. Main St., Suite 208, Clarkston, Mi., 48346.
She was buried at St. Anne Catholic Church Cemetery in Napoleonville.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
