Betty Jane Amedee Zeringue, 76, a native and resident of St. James, La., died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.
Mrs. Zeringue was a homemaker and member of St. James Catholic Church Choir and Christian Mothers. She possessed a talent and passion for both sewing and gardening. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda (Kenny) Morris and Charlene (Rudy) Gravois; sons, Randall (Jennifer) and Jason Zeringue; brother, Patrick Amedee; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Zeringue; parents, Semar and Verna Amedee; brother, Manuel Amedee; and one grandchild.
Interment was at St. James Catholic Church Mausoleum. (Thibodaux)
