December 31, 2009Betty Lewis, 69, a native of Jeanerette, La., died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at the Consolata Home in New Iberia, La., following a long illness.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph (Alice) Colar; sister, Agnes Lewis; aunt, Irma Dugas; uncle, Henry Colar; and a host of relatives.
Ms. Lewis is buried at St. James Baptist Church Cemetery.
