June 5, 2013Billy Jo Earnest Binion, 74, a resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Sunday, May 26, 2013.
Mr. Binion was a U.S. Air Force veteran who loved spending time with his family and was passionate about fishing. Throughout his life he went fishing at every possible opportunity and always had a fishing pole with him no matter where he went.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Binion; son, Curt Binion; daughters, Terri Morrison and Tina (Don) Arns; stepdaughter, Lori (Chad) Hebert; brothers, Tom and Sam (Margie) Binion; sister, Susie (Dale) Shively; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Opal Binion; stepfather, Chester Knipp; and sisters, Betty Johnson and Shirley Powell.
A grave side service with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 15, at Morgan City Cemetery with a time of remembrance to follow at Calumet Baptist Church in Patterson, La. (Hargrave)
