Brandon M. “Big B” Patterson, 22, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Tuesday, June 28, 2011.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Kitica and Christopher Starks; father, Robert Slack Jr.; sister, Nyler Patterson: five stepsisters; one stepbrother; grandparents, Robert and Joyce Patterson and Robert and Geneva Slack; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Etienne and Cora Patterson and Elvie and Mavor Simon.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 30 at Williams & Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville, La., and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, July 1 at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church with religious services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Williams & Southall)
