Brenda Ann “Tulsa” Williams-Nelson, 58, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, June 5, 2014.
She is survived by her mother, Gladys Williams; former husband, Mitchell Nelson Sr.; son, Mitchell Nelson Jr.; daughters, Lakisha and Angelique Nelson; sisters, Brenda Williams, Barbara Nevis, Belinda Clay and Loretta Barabin; brother, Joshua Williams; and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jasper Williams Sr.; grandparents, Hamilton and Lena Cheatham and Roger and Idela Williams; and brother, Jasper Williams Sr.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 12, at First Baptist Church in Schriever, La., with services to follow. Burial will be at Halfway Cemetery. (Jones)
