Brenda Brooks Ramirez, 46, a native of Bogalusa, La., and resident of Donna, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011.
She is survived by her daughters, Maria Pena and Elizabeth Canfield; brothers, Bruce Carpenter, David Chauvin and Robin Crochet; sisters, Lisa Brooks, Marilyn Matherne and Sharon Carpenter; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Carpenter; and one sister, Annette Brooks Singh.
She is buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La.
