Carla Marie Marcel Lyons, 51, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Monday, Feb. 3, 2014.
Mrs. Lyons was a beautiful, loving, devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, mother-in-law and grandmother. She loved life to the fullest opening her door to all. She was a past float captain for the Krewe of Cleopatra and loved dancing, partying and having a good time with friends and family. She was a hairdresser for Belle Amie Salon and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kelly Lyons; son, Jessi Marcel; stepdaughters, Laci Luke and Hannah LeBoeuf; mother, Dolores Marcel; brother, James Marcel Jr.; sister, Debra Matherne; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Marcel.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
