Carolyn T. Brown, 81, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of San Antonio, Tx., died Wednesday, January 23, 2008
She is survived by her husband, Jesse Brown of San Antonio; son, Jesse Brown III of San Antonio; daughters, Judy Ivy and Denise Brown both of San Antonio; sisters, Cora Thomas and Dorothy Coleman of Napoleonville; brothers, Gerald Thomas of Thibodaux, La., Carroll and Robert Thomas of Napoleonville; she is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Harriet Thomas; three brothers, Edward, George Jr., and Willie Thomas; one sister, Gertrude Narcisse; grandparents, Cora and Nathan Thomas and Annie and Wesley Keys.
Carolyn was Baptist.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 28, 2008, at New Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Napoleonville with the religious service to follow at the church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
