Carolyn Savoie Bergeron, 68, a native of Chauvin, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, March 26, at 11 a.m.
She is survived by her son, Wendal Bergeron and wife, Cheryl, of Houma; daughter, Kathy Brien and companion, David Charnick, of Houma; sisters, Emilie Boudreaux and husband, Larry Boudreaux, of Bayou Black, La., and Verna Mae S. Pellegrin of Houma; grandchildren, Lance Brien and Beau Bergeron; step-grandchildren, Chad Folse and Ben Folse; and step-great-grandchildren, Taylor, Marlie, Mia, and Forest.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Joseph Bergeron; her parents, Morris Douglas Savoie and Emily Picou Savoie; brothers, Arvin Savoie, Ira Savoie Sr. and Elton Savoie; and sister, Mayloria Savoie Charpentier.
She was the retired owner of Louisiana Food Store and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
