Cary Lafont, 59, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Friday, Aug. 21 at 12:27 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Eldon Lafont Jr.; one son, YiYie Lafont; one brother, Tony Cheramie; and one sister, Lisa Griffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aziel and Antoinette Bourg Cheramie; and one brother, Hardy Cheramie.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La., with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Cheramie Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
