Louisiana’s seniors increase in numbers and employment
December 13, 2011Catherine Marie Chiasson, 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 9:16 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2011.
She is survived by her sons, David (Aline), Darren (Jean) and Darrel (Michelle) Chiasson; daughters, Kelly and Cindy Chiasson and Rachel Faucheaux; 15 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Mae Chiasson; and brother, Russell Chiasson.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at church cemetery. (Thibodaux)
