January 9, 2014Catherine Mona Barrilleaux Williams, 69, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Jan. 3, 2014.
Mrs. Williams was a 1962 graduate of Mt. Carmel Academy and worked as a hair dresser for 23 years before retirement. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church and a devout Catholic who revered the Blessed Mother and St. Therese, the Little Flower, to whom she prayed daily. She had a unique way of making everyone feel special and enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Barry Williams; daughters Debbie (Brent) Fanguy and Monica (Mark) Folse; brothers, Huey, Carroll, Gerry, Pat, Julien, Steve and Vernon Barrilleaux; sisters, Ethel Himel, Goldie Legendre and Marlene Folse; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillian Barrilleaux; and sisters, Joyce and Therese Barrilleaux.
Interment is at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Landry’s)
