February 7, 2011Cethel J. White, 60, a native and resident of White Castle, La., died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011.
Mrs. White was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Claiborne White Jr.; daughters, Jessica, Jeanette and Mary (Curtis) White; sons, Craig Jackson, and Claiborn III (Gertrude), Bradley (Shaquita), Warren and Ned White; sisters, Dorothy Ellis, Willie Mae Clark and Ester Powell; brothers, Edward and James Jackson, Leroy and Ellis Ray and Stanley Brooks; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Alexander Jackson; two brothers, Booster and Joseph Jackson; and one sister, Shirley Singleton.
She is buried at St. Paul Baptist Church Cemetery in White Castle.
