October 23, 2010Chad Melancon, 44, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010.
Mr. Melancon’s kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him,
He is survived by his daughter, Melanie; mother, Patsy Wernert; father, Patrick (Sandra) Melancon; and siblings and family members, Perry, Kevin, Robby and Tracy Melancon, Denise Thompson, Stephanie Guardia, Benson Row, Ellen and Christine Melancon, James Thompson, Chris Guardia, Shawn, Stephanie Frisch and Arlene Melancon, Martha Carter Norra, Linda Pillow Melancon, Cathy McAdams Matte, D.D. Matte and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Moe Wernert.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center for their kindness and compassion.
