Charles Columbus Nelson, 75, a native of Bloomburg, Texas, and resident of Bayou Vista, La., died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Nelson; son, Charles (Mary) Nelson; daughter, Mary (Wendel) Theriot; brothers, Lee (Ellen) Nelson and Jack Eubanks Jr.; sister, Carolyn (Lee) Fontenot; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Della Nelson; four half-brothers; and one half-sister. (Twin City)
