Charles E. “Litzy” Jones Sr., 72, a native and resident of Napoleonville, La., died Friday, May 4, 2012.
Mr. Jones was a retired laborer.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Jr. and Joseph Jones; daughter, Vanshander Jones; sisters, Shirley Rayford and Janet and Rev. Deborah Jones; brothers, Ulysses Jr., Louis, Clyde and Gilbert (Christina) Jones; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ulysses Sr. and Mildred Jones; daughter, Vanshander Jones; and sisters, Vernetta Jones and Germaine Anderson.
Burial was at Nelson Chapel A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Napoleonville. (Williams &Southall)
