September 12, 2011Christine Martin, 46, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011.
Ms. Martin was a beloved homemaker, mother, grandmother, companion and daughter who loved her family, two birds, four dogs and collecting antiques.
She is survived by her companion, Keith Lagarde; parents, William and Frances Martin; sons, Jacob and Justin Simoneaux; daughters, Jessica Bergeron and Vanessa Pitre; brothers, William, David and Adam Martin; sisters, Fay Duffy and Stephanie Martin; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Simoneaux; and brother, Jason Martin.
Interment was at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
