Clarence “Cheeky” Ringold, 85, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, September 27.
He is survived by one son, Clarence Ringold Jr. of Houma; two stepdaughters, Janis S. Bellow and husband John of Chauvin, La., and Robin S. Gullage of Houma; one nephew, James Ellis Sr. of Houma; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Girlis Ringold and Lillie Mae Riley Ringold; his parents, Roger and Savannah Ringold; one son, George Ringold; one stepson, Donald Grant; one daughter, Dorothy Ringold; and one sister, Helen Verdin.
He was a retired truck driver for Asia Motor Freight Company and a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a member of Blaine C. Lodge No. 14 Gold Card Member and a member of Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at Howard Third Zion Travelers Baptist Church with the services to follow. He will be buried at Deweyville Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
