Clarice Duet

Clarice “T-Cla” Duet, 89, a native and resident of Galliano, LA., died at 4:57 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2007.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to funeral time today at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano, with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

She is survived by one daughter she raised, Margie Cheramie; and two sisters, Cleonise Cheramie and Mae Doucet.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felicien and Louise Guidry Duet; two sons she raised, Adam and James Duet; one daughter she raised, Melva “Jean” Vegas; 11 brothers, Nolan, George, Victor, Felicien Jr., Zwebb, Leand, Leon, Ozeimen, Donatican, Alnnate and Amay Duet; three sisters, Louise Bellanger, Victoria Blanchard and Lionel Smith; and three infants.

She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
