Thibodaux church finds its place after 10-year expansion
January 12, 2010Claude J. Chauvin, 83, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died at 7:10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010.
Mr. Chauvin had a lifelong love for music.
He is survived by his brother, Charlie Chauvin; sisters, Sue Chauvin and Beryl (Jerry) Gros.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Olga Sevin Chauvin; infant sister, Ursula Chauvin; and brother, Curman Chauvin.
He is buried at St. Eli Cemetery in Upper Little Caillou.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
