Cleveland “Junior Boy” Alleman Jr., 67, a native of Pierre Part, La. and resident of Houma, La. died Wednesday, December 12, 2007, at 7:00 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Renella Guidry Alleman; one son, Brian Anthony Alleman and his wife Dena; two daughters, Ceclia Williamson and her husband Gerald and Anna Mae Eschete and her husband Steven; one brother, Robert Lee Alleman and his wife Mayola; one sister, Sylvia Pollet and her husband Wayne; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Cecelia Mae Ledet Alleman, Sr.; his father-in-law, Paul Yancy; his mother-in-law, Anna Lee Breaux Guidry; and one brother, Bobby Alleman.
Cleveland was a member of the Lion’s Club, the Cajun French Music Association, and was an avid member of the Pit Stop Crew. He served his country in the United States Navy, Army and National Guard. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. His philosophy was “A stranger is just a friend you have not met yet.”
He is buried in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.
