Jindal touts higher ed relief
January 6, 2011Clifford Gilbert Neal, 85, a native of Theriot, La. and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010.
Mr. Neal was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Naval Air Fleet. He was a crane operator for J. Ray McDermott for 32 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 31 and AARP.
He is survived by wife, Winnie Duplantis Neal; sons, David (Sharon) and Barry (Sharon) Neal; daughter, Abby Lynne (Burt) Pellegrin; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents, Paul Jean Baptiste and Felicia “Tess” Pinell Neal; brothers, Lusius, Paul Jr. and Claude Neal; sisters, Leona Neal Chatagnier, Maggie Neal Trahan, Aggie Neal Ford and Morgorie Neal Ordoyne; and one great grandchild.
He is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church
