Toll revenue not enough to make bond payments
February 21, 2011Clothilde Aucoin Johnston, 92, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 1:48 a.m. Monday, Feb. 14, 2011.
Mrs. Johnston retired as a sales clerk from Franklin Dress Shop. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and belonged to the Foundation for Christian Living and the AARP. She was an extremely outgoing person and had a great love of people. She never met anyone she didn’t like and treated everyone with the same love and kindness. She was a very religious woman and God was very important to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Helen Johnston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Johnston; parents, Philip and Adele Esteve Aucoin; brother, Sidney Aucoin; sisters, Jeanne Landry, Julie Adams, Annette Bussie and Odette Aucoin.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
