Corey Dwayne “Beasley” Short, 23, a native and resident of Gibson, La., died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011.
Mr. Short was a Baptist
He is survived by his companion, Kanjaney Brown; parents, Kena Short-Reed and Corey Victorian; son, Kairell Short; brother, Joshua Short; and sisters, Krystal Short and Shanell Short.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gregory Reed; and grandparents, Milton Short and Carolyn Victorian
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Gibson with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Community)
