Corey D. “Sluggo” Johnson, 42, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Decatur, Ga., died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010.
He is survived by his parents, Frank and Joyce Pierce Johnson; grandmother, Bessie Johnson; daughters, Whitney Crawford, Brittney Johnson, and Jamie and Shanece Johnson; sisters, Monique (Clarence) Neal, Trisha Johnson, Kristie Johnson and Ivy Wallace; brothers, Terry (Roslyn) and Frank Jr. (Karen) Johnson, and Gregory (Angela Wafford) Wallace; and a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, cousins and an abundance of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Levi Johnson Sr., Jerry Pierce and Maggie B. Arceneaux; uncle, Chris Johnson; aunt, Shirley Wolfe; one nephew, Tristian S. Johnson; and one great niece, Rykia S. Johnson.
He is buried at Lakeview Cemetery in Ellenwood, Ga.
