December 16, 2013Corinne “Keen” Curry, 92, a native of Bayou Chene, La., and resident of Franklin, La., died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.
Ms. Curry Everyone was a devout Christian and loving mother, sister and aunt. She was a longtime member and supporter of Calvary Bible Church serving as a Sunday school and bible school teacher, board member, treasurer, Deaconess and in any other capacity she felt could serve the Lord and the church. She worked from her home as a beautician for 46 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Myra Guillotte; brothers, E. J. (Letty), Murphy and Alden Curry; sisters, Frieda (Eldridge) Larson and Vivian (Bill) Adams; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Julia Curry; daughter, Trudy Gauthier; sisters, Goldie Snellgrove, Florence Allen and Alvenia Carline; and brothers, Evans, Floyd, Amos, Clarence and Aubrey Curry.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, at Calvary Bible Church in Centerville, La., with services to follow. Burial will be at Presbyterian Cemetery in Centerville. (Ibert’s)
