Cornelia “Suzie” Authement Sevin, 63, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Science Hill, Ky., died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Paul Sevin; father, Harry Authement Sr.; son, Todd P. Sevin; daughters, Jill (Merlin Jr.) Savoie and Monique (Kevin) LeBlanc; brothers, Tommy (Sharon), Harry “T-Nook” (Sally) Authement Jr.; sister, Marbeline (Michael) Marie; grandchildren, Racheal (Alex) Billiot, Tasha Rae’ Sevin, Taylor and Brooke Savoie and Kylie and Kelci LeBlanc; and one great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Iona A. Authement; and sister, Peggy Authement.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. A religious service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Sevin will be buried at Grace Christian Memorial Gardens.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
