Craig Marcel, 56, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Tuesday, March 18, 2014.
Mr. Marcel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid NASCAR fan. His favorite pastime was riding his motorcycle. He was a truck driver and previously worked for ES&H and Noble’s Tire Service.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wanda Marcel; son, Kipp (Brooke) Marcel; brothers, Pierre (Deborah) Marcel and C.J. (Veronica) Gisclair; sister, Marilyn (Leonard) Duet; Lashane Fleniken; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his, parents, Pierre Sr. and Elma Marcel.
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 20, and 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, March 21, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
