Dantrell Anderson, 27, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA., died Tuesday, December, 19, 2006.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux. The Religious service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery on Cleveland St.
He is survived by his parents, Janice Holmes Anderson and Preston Bolden of Thibodaux; step father, Otis Johnson of Thibodaux; his mentor and father figure, Claudell Frye of Thibodaux; two sons, Dylan Anderson and Detron Anderson of Baton Rouge, LA.; three brothers, Tyrone Anderson, Kevin Anderson, and Christopher Holmes of Thibodaux; eight stepbrothers, Ruben C. Brown, Vondell Brown, Jamie Jones, Dwayne Jones, Don Frye and Don Cole all of Thibodaux, Joseph Brown of Raceland, LA. and Desmon Jones of Vacherie, LA.; two stepsisters, Kim Mingle of Washington, D.C. and Vakima Bolden of Thibodaux; and grandmother, Alice Holmes of Thibodaux.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bennie Bush, Corine Holmes and Ida Mae B. Lee.
He was Baptist. His hobbies included dancing, singing, dressing, and playing basketball.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
