January 18, 2010David T. Bryant Sr., 75, a native of Elm Grove, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010 at 10:42 p.m.
He is survived by his sons, David A. (Jessica), David Jr. (Allison), Fred and Kenny Bryant; daughters, Connie (Leslie Jr.) Rivero, Trudy Bryant and Wendy Girouard; brother, Pete Bryant; sister, Marie Bryant; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Cortez Bryant; parents, Fred and Eula Bryant; brother, Bill Bryant; and sister, Francis Humphrey.
He was retired from Bollinger Shipyards and loved the Saints.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at First Baptist Church in Des Allemands, La. A religious service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Des Allemands.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
