Deanna Galjour Rousse, 70, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 3:40 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2011.
Mrs. Rousse was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. She was a member of the Red Hatters, Catholic Daughters, the Ladies Altar Society and Cruisin Cajuns.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mike Rousse; sons, Daryl (Monica) and Wendel (Michelle) Rousse; daughters, Tammy (Aaron) Callais and Priscilla (Jason) Scioneaux; brothers, Van Jr., Larry, John and Barry Galjour; sisters, Gloria Galjour, Darlene Rabalais, Connie Gaspard and Donna Collins; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Van Sr. and Priscilla Galjour.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
